SGNA is excited to introduce a fun and innovative way to earn 3 contact hours! The SGNA Crossword Puzzles: Gastroenterology Nursing: A Clinical Review offers individuals the opportunity to participate in a learner-directed activity that will provide 3 contact hours upon successful completion. Each crossword puzzle consists of 20 clues and contains the following content: Definition of Terms, Intravenous Therapy, Manometry, Nutritional Therapy, Pharmacology and Pulmonary Procedures and Medications. Once all six puzzles are completed just send in the puzzles along with the provided SGNA Cover Sheet to SGNA Headquarters where they will be graded. If a passing score is achieved (80%) a contact hour certificate will be sent to you. In the event an 80% score is not achieved you will have two more opportunities to successfully complete the puzzle(s). There will be eight (8) modules that need to be taken and completed (passing a post test):

Module 1 Anatomy
Module 2 Equipment
Module 3 Reprocessing/Infection Control
Module 4 Patient Care
Module 5 Risk Management
Module 6 Roles & Responsibilities/Communication
Module 7 Safety
Module 8 Emergency Preparedness

Upon completing the 8 modules, an Official Recognition of Completion and a GTS lapel pin will be awarded to the associate.

Modules will contain slides, diagrams and supporting documents.
THIS IS AN ONLINE PROGRAM REQUIRING HIGH-SPEED INTERNET ACCESS.
Other system requirements:
Upon ordering this program through our online orders system, you will receive an email with a link to the online education login screen. Here you will enter your login and password (the same one that you use as a member or you created when you order the program). You will then go to a page which will list all 8 modules. You may view any of these modules as often as you like for 6 months and try as many times as you need to complete each post-test. After all 8 post-tests have been completed; THE INDIVIDUAL WHO PURCHASED ACCESS will receive a certificate and GTS pin.
